WHO WE ARE
St. John's is a community of free-thinking people who follow the example of Jesus Christ. We are part of the Episcopal Church & the world-wide Anglican Communion. All people--cis-gendered, LGBTQIA, differently-abled, Black, ᏣᎳᎩ, white, young & old, believing & doubting--are welcome here. We strive to fully welcome ALL, just as Christ has welcomed us into this family of faith.
Viewing our parish from the street you might be tempted to think that we are a quiet, sleepy parish in a small beautiful Western North Carolina town. In fact, our vibrant parish is filled with energy. We are deeply committed to loving God and loving our neighbors.
